USING MASONRY SEALERS TO PROTECT CONCRETE
Our masonry water repellent sealers are the best because they penetrate very deep into the substrate, form chemical bonds, resist mold, and protect from water, salt and ice. What makes them superior is that they penetrate deeper than any other sealer on the market, they are water-based, and completely invisible.
It is very important to use an excellent masonry sealer on walls and structures to prevent early deterioration and corrosion of the structure. Often there are small spaces between the brick, stone, and masonry that are very capable of growing larger and deteriorating rapidly. 
In the hotter months, Water gets in easily helping mold and mildew to grow. As the mold and mildew grow quickly their roots and spores take over the little small cracks and voids inside the masonry and begin to compromise the structures integrity while increasingly taking up more and more space making cracks and voids increasing larger. In the colder months these voids have grown bigger thus the water and ice build up and completely crack apart the masonry. Therefore not using the proper masonry sealer can and will greatly decrease the service life of the wall as seen here where the unsealed masonry literally corroded away.
It is very important to use the proper masonry sealer right after the structure has been completed. This will prevent tiny cracks and fissures from growing in size. It will also protect the masonry from wearing away from wind driven rain, mold, and ice. A good masonry sealer will keep the structure protected and dry when it rains and protected from mold growth and ice damage.
Our (Typhoon 3) water repellent sealer should be used and specified in every new masonry wall and immediately applied to older walls to help save them from destruction.
